Hello!

Thanks so much for visiting my website. If you’ve made it this far, maybe you want to know a bit more about me. Go on, of course you do!

I’ve been making things my whole life. As a child, I was far too busy drawing, cutting, gluing and stitching things for my dolls to actually have time to play with them.

That love of mixing beauty and fun to create products that make people smile has stayed with me - and goes into every single thing I make.

I discovered screen-printing as a teenager at Camberwell college and I was hooked. After a textiles degree and studying at the Royal College of Art and Cordwainers at The London College of Fashion, I worked on the display team at Harvey Nichols and as a textile designer in New York.

Eventually, I brought all my experience and ideas back to London to form Miss Budd. My first collection was bought by Paul Smith and I’ve also collaborated with Isetan in Japan on a range of purses and bags.

If you’ve looked at my shop, you’ll know that the late 1950s and early 1960s are a big influence for my prints. Design from that period was the perfect combination of beauty and fun and I never ever get tired of wandering around vintage flea markets across Europe looking for the next spark of inspiration. I never know what I’m going to find!

Thanks again for visiting - and feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions.
